Easy Ways to Save Money On Travel

01/30/15 | Books, Travel

I’m SO excited today. And not even about my stuff. I’m excited for my girl Tawanna, queen of the cruises, boss of the beaches, princess of the planes! This is the girl I bombard with my crazy ideas. The chick I text late at night with “let me ask you something?” and then go into my barrage of whatever new plot I’ve come up with to take over the world.

Moms Guide to Saving Money on Family TravelBut now, I get to stop asking her questions about travel and just scoop up my copy of Mom’s Guide to Saving Money on Family Travel and BAM! I’m ready to roll. This is what I’m using to plan the epic travels of my 40th year.

  • Learn which airlines charge you extra for luggage.
  • Understand how passport fees work and add up.
  • Discover which travel shows to attend for deep travel discounts.
  • Learn how to stay on top of flash sales for flights and hotels.
  • Learn how to set up a fool-proof travel savings plan.

I know so many of us that haven’t taken vacation. Like, not just sitting at home in your yoga pants while the office thinks you’re on vacay. A true “ohmaigaah, look I have pictures of me in a place other than my hometown” vacay.

And not only will you be doing something for your family’s mental health, you’ll be doing something for the Make-A-Wish foundation. Here’s what Tawanna had to say:

“This book was written specifically for families who want to learn different ways that they can save on travel costs so that they can vacation more. Grab a copy for yourself or a friend. We’re paying it forward and donating a portion of the proceeds to the Make-A-Wish foundation to help grant another critically-ill child like our Asad, their travel wish this year.”

Isn’t that awesome? Okay go getchu a copy of Mom’s Guide to Saving Money on Family Travel and let’s plan on where we’re going this year!
